Company History

  • Established in June 1983, RII started working primarily on shortline railroads doing operations, marketing and evaluations nationally. The successful projects RII achieved led them to a strong reputation at the early stages.
  • In the growing years, RII expanded its portfolio and diversified services. Working more with class I railroads and large aquisitions that asserted their position as a priemer consulting company. One of the biggest key strategies was their client relations which produced loyalty and created a secure client base.
  • Now the firm has evolved as the industry has grown, building a pool of expertise and experience to handle all aspects of rail transportation consulting.
